Show 2009

Next Year's show is going to be about a girl called Emily and her mother who own a costume shop. They live in a big old house which is full of friendly ghosts, skeletons, zombies etc. They are not frightening - think Casper the friendly ghost. If the Mother ever goes away she knows she can rely on their friends to look after Emily. As always something happens and the mother disappears (temporarily). Her twin sister Aunt Louisa is brought in to look after the little girl together with her 50 pink poodles! It's a little like Cinderella, Aunt Louisa makes the little girl do all the work, so the friendly ghosts and skeletons decide they have to get rid of Aunt Louisa by scaring her but they don't know how to do this so they call in a trainer, needless to say they are rubbish at scaring anyone, so they do what they do best which is put on a show. They put on an amazing dance show for her and that is enough to make her and her poodles run away. Of course mummy comes back and all is well and they all live happily ever after.

The dances are going to be a lot of fun, we obviously have the Monster Mash, the skeletons have shake rattle and roll, the ghosts have Spooky which is a song from Lazytown etc.

I want to reassure everyone that we are not trying to put on a Rocky Horror type scary show, it will be the usual Danceblast Fun show with something for everyone, and although the upper school will probably be using some face paints we intend making it more cartoonish than scary.
