This was our first show performed at Churchill Community School, and I have to say it was the best so far. The costumes were all amazing, the venue allowed the students more room to dance and it made a big difference.

 

The story was based loosely on the original Noah story; but it was given the usual Danceblast twist, by concentrating on how the animals, when forced to enter a competition to see which two would go on the ark, started behaving like the humans!

The wise Lion King saw this and decided that none of the animals were going on the ark! This part of the story was told in 'The Lion's Decision', a song composed by Carlo that I think was worthy of being on a west end Stage.

Fortunately God (played superbly by Tommie Maddox) decided that the humans had noticed what was going on with the animals and had seen how badly they were acting so they changed their ways. God decided not to send the flood for now - however he would keep an eye on the situation !!
